How Does Our Trekking Partner Service Work?

Our process is simple. Follow these steps to find potential trekking partners and plan your Kanchenjunga adventure together.

1. Submit Your Profile

If you are interested in finding trekking partners, start by submitting your basic details to us. We require the following information:

• Full name
• Recent profile photograph
• Age
• Gender
• Preferred Kanchenjunga trekking departure date

We charge a $10 profile verification fee to help us verify genuine participants and reduce fake or misleading profiles. Once your details and payment are received, our team will review your submission.

2. Get Listed on Our Departure Page

After reviewing and verifying your profile, we will publish your preferred departure date in our Kanchenjunga Trekking Departures section.

Your listing will help other travellers see that you are looking for trekking companions on similar dates. Anyone interested in joining your departure can contact us to express their interest.

Flexible Matching: Even if another traveller has not selected exactly the same departure date, we can help arrange a suitable match. If we receive an inquiry from someone looking for a trekking partner and their preferred departure date is within one week of your planned departure, our team can coordinate with both travellers to see if they can join the same group.

3. Connect With Potential Trekking Partners

When another traveller shows interest in joining your departure, our team will help connect you with them.

We will introduce interested participants so you can communicate, discuss your travel plans, and get to know one another before making a decision.

Once suitable trekking partners are found, we will help coordinate the group and discuss the trekking arrangements.

4. Confirm Your Trekking Booking

Once you and the other participants decide to travel together, the next step is to confirm your trek with Kanchenjunga Guides.

To proceed with the booking, we will require the necessary traveller information and documents for trekking arrangements and permit processing.

A 10% advance payment of the total trip cost is required from each traveller to confirm their booking. Once another traveller or group has paid their 10% advance payment to confirm the trek, you will also need to pay your 10% advance payment to secure your place in the same group.

5. Pay the Remaining Balance in Kathmandu

You don't need to pay the entire trekking cost in advance.

After paying the 10% advance deposit, you can pay the remaining 90% of your total trip cost when you arrive at our office in Thamel, Kathmandu, before starting your trek.

Our team will assist you with the remaining arrangements, including trekking preparations, permits, guides, accommodation, and other necessary logistics.
